ON | OFF: CHINA’S YOUNG ARTISTS

Art to me no longer contains 2D paintings because I've seen so many that it's like they're just starting to all look the same. Art to me is now video, photography, sculptural works made from non-traditional materials, and paintings with 3D elements. I like originality and fresh ideas. The article in the first link below discusses several young Chinese artists who are making their mark in the contemporary art world. I love the photo of the tank made from tan leather, and I can always appreciate when younger men and women dare to take chances. The second link discusses the ON|OFF exhibition in which they participated.
