Bob Adelman
Once again, I've found a photographer I love through my photo class. This one's name is Bob Adelman, and he became popular around the time of the civil rights movement. Adelman’s photography captures Black America in a very
innocent, true way. Each of his photos makes the viewer want to know more about
the subject. It’s as if he catches each of his subjects’ life story in just one
perfectly engaging photo. I especially love his black and white photos. His use
of lighting, depth of field, and perspective is impeccable. Adelman’s images
have a wonderful rawness about them. The images below are some of the photos I took a picture of our of Adelman's book "Mine Eyes Have Seen."
