John Bellany

In  this  interview, Scottish artist John Bellany talks about his themes, his start, and growing up in a small fishing community in Scotland. Bellany had his first big show in Edinburgh with a friend while they were still in art school. It is worth noting because his method of display was outside of traditional conventions: the two hung their paintings outside of Scottish National Gallery along the fence.
